Mirasol is a residential treatment center in Tucson, Arizona, that offers an alternative approach to eating disorder recovery.

We treat anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder by combining individual and group psychotherapy with proven alternative therapies including neurofeedback, bodywork, Oriental medicine, EMDR and adventure therapy.
We strongly believe that working with the whole mind, body and spirit simultaneously can promote therapeutic transformation in individuals, and, ultimately, in families and communities.

Mirasol's Medical Director is a naturopathic physician, and our clinicians use non-pharmaceutical alternatives whenever possible to enhance and restore the body's natural ability to combat illness. Functional Diagnostic Medical Testing is available to expose and treat the root causes of chronic illnesses.
Our spiritual philosophy is eclectic and does not promote any particular philosophy or religion, but honors each person in exploring and pursuing her own personal spiritual practices.
We respect vegetarianism as a legimitate lifestyle choice. We use organic and whole foods whenever possible, and offer vegan and vegetarian options at every meal.

A Secluded and Spectacular Environment for Healing

Mirasol offers intensive residential eating disorder treatment at two private homes in the heart of southern Arizona's spectacular Sonoran Desert. Our primary residential treatment facility is a six-bedroom Spanish Territorial Style estate with four bathrooms, a great room, dining room, recreation room and swimming pool.

This intensive program is custom designed for women struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder and obesity, and specializes in the treatment of dual diagnoses.

The biochemical relationship between the body, nutrition, and mental health are assessed for each person. Rather than treating the symptoms of an eating disorder, we focus on the underlying imbalance that produces them.
